Available Visual Mods?

Anyone know where I can find any decent looking visual mods for my car? All I found were 2 ugly looking body kits, some even uglier tail lights, and a set of "crystal" headlights.

Buy the headlights, re-paint the car a factory color, lower it about an inch and a half, add a good looking set of 17's.

That's about all their is for the 1g's, but thankfully that's all they need.

You could get clear corners as well, and get rid of the amber, and also, you can get rid of the antenna and rear wiper, and clean things up back there as well.

Rear wiper doesn't bother me too much but a new atenna might be nice. Say a nice little stub one.

back on topic, I agree that there is not many exterior mods for our car. Personally, I'm planning on getting a new paint job for now. Maybe some new rims down the road. If I was able to get the 2G I planned on, I would go for a kit...Quwhees or Blitz...but for my 90 TSi, it's mostly going to be engine mods.

If you want a sweet body mod, check the topic about the buddy club2 on 1g. We're getting some stuff together about getting that kit made. Aside from that, clear corners, shaved stuff, new paint. keep it clean.

I have a 92 tsi with the drift kit, a set of bad ass 18's, cf tailights, and those awesome headlights. there is a whole lot of stuff to do for the first gens if you are in to that kind of look. I used to have a 1.8L, so i got into the look of the car and thats it. but then i picked up a tsi and i had to carry over the look of the car to that one. I might be different then the rest of you, but I have something that not a lot of people have. A FAST CAR THAT ALSO LOOKS BADASS!!!

a little old but..I have clear corners and I hate the stock amber bulbs. Autozone has blue replacements..

Anyways Im looking for some white bulbs anyone have any idea where I can get them from? Thanks.

clear corners, chrome housing headlights (looking to get both of those soon hopefully), altezza tails (heavily not recommended...personally i think they're f'ugly), carbon hood(s), oem carbon fenders, cf tail light center piece (also looking into that possibly along with talon tails), a few body kits but nothin that great esp if you live around hills like me. i also have a 93 non turbo...gs 1.8...im looking more for performance mods right now though.


thats what i can find off the top of my head, personally im thinking of going with clear corners/chrome headlights, the tail lite swap w/ cf piece like i said, oem cf hood, possibly the cf fenders but paint them over, new rims and dropping it...too many hills here for the body kits made for this car.

shave all decals, tint the windows border-line tint - local tint shop, replace all your exterior bulbs with hyperwhite bulbs - autozone, Silverstar headlight bulbs - autozone, paint the inner headlight housing to match your car and clear out the orange turn signals - replace with a hyperwhite bulb, install front silver grills if possible - grillcraft?, lower it with prokit if you have the money and a nice set of 17's or 18's, and a autometer dual gauge pod for the interior - local performance shop, also paint over the bumper lenses to match the car and disconnect the bulb or leave the bulb and install clears

stay away from: aftermarket tails/euros, chrome headlight assemblies, chrome wheels, anything chrome

if you want a body kit, search on google for eclipse + body kit + cardomain
and maybe add a year to your search, you should find something decent
