im looking to go fast, and looking at the nhra rules, i need, 30.1 flexplate shield?

do i need a shatter shield for an auto? if so where can i find one?

nobody that i know of makes one. ive been talking to ben hochman at hochman fabrication on seeing about getting one made for the auto but nothing has happened yet.

yea english racing said they have no idea where to find one, which tells me you dont need one?

last time i went through tech they never said anything about not having one. im assuming its one of those rules thats not super strict on. aaron is deep in the 7s without one so im gonna guess its not a big deal

yea it might be a different rule for 4 cylinder, autos that dont need them

not sure tbh. i went ahead and did the driveshaft loop on mine and the kiggly plate is sfi approved so im good to go there.
