Been a long time since I've been on here. I have a few Q's. I've had my DSM for about a year now, and it's currently just a project car. Background on the car: 122k miles, all stock besides a re-wired fuel pump and an MBC. Considering I bought the car cheap, and it's just a beater (I use this loosly, the car is clean, but I'm lazy when it comes to maintinece), don't treat it nice. Anyways, I was at speedworld a few months ago and was running it down the 1/4. The car was running good, up until the last launch. As with most people with autos, I stall it up and sit at the light. A few times I would sit there @ full boost for 10-15 seconds. I did around 10 runs, all back to back. On the final one, I heard a pop, and now the trans slips and when going to OD, it feels like the car is in neutral.

Fast forward to today, I'm off work and Felt like messing with the car. I checked the oil level and it wasn't even on the dipstick. I ended up adding a total of 3 quarts, and I can still add more. It's only at the cold line (while hot). The trans shifts better and engages, but it still slips. When I put the car in park in my driveway, it starts to roll backwards. What did I burn up? Sorry for the long read, I just didn't want to leave anything out.

I would change all the fluid and start fresh.

If you ran the runs without letting the transmission fluid cool down then most likely something overheated, get it checked out, start fresh and if it still slips might have to replace some pieces or transmission as a whole

Yes, all of the runs were hotlaps. I'm going to flush the trans and put a new filter in it as suggested, and we will see how that goes. I hope nothing is fried. It seemed like the more fluid I added the better the car sounds. Tomorrow or Wednesday I will add more fluid (still barely even on the dipstick, I figured 3 quarts would fill it, I geuss not!) , but it Still slips unfortunatly. If the trans is fried, I will have an aquaintence of mine (donniekak on here, my buddy bought his 20g e85 talon) rebuild it with an IPT rebuild kit and throw in a re-stalled converter. Big things will come of this car. I'm looking for 10's on a 20g and e85.
