im completing my awd conversion, and the donor car i bought was an automatic. i picked up all the 5 spd parts that i needed to make everything work, but the 4 bolt rear diff that i bought seems to be a completely different shape than the automatic rear diff. now, i know the internals are completely different, but the outside of the diffs and mounts are different, and i am not able to bolt the new 4 bolt 5 spd rear diff to the subframe. now are the auto and 5spd diffs for a 2g supposed to have different cases? or did i buy a 1g 4 bolt diff? im pretty sure i can just swap the ring and pinion gears from the 5 spd diff to the auto diff, but i dont have the tools to do so, and it would be a waste of money since i could do that with a 3 bolt ring and pinion for ALOT less. so basically, the cases of the 5spd and automatic on a 2g.....different or not?

part number on the 5spd says- B1H

Automatic says- JFH

nvmd, found out its a 1g 4 bolt, guy i got it from said he will swap the ring and pinion for me.
