Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the differences between automatic and manual DSM's? Off hand, I've heard....

-cams
-FPR
-injectors
-turbo

Might be a fools errand, trying to locate and change everything over to manual stuff, since I just read that there was only a 5hp difference between the 2? But, I figured every little bit helps...and most people have probably been tripping over this stock stuff for years, and wouldn't be too hard to track down. LOL

You heard incorrectly. 5hp was awd to fwd manual. 190 vs 195 for awd because of exhaust routing.
Auto is 180 if I recall. Not sure about awd vs fwd. The differences are less so on 2g as they all had the same turbo.

As for other differences don't forget exhaust manifold and if you don't want prndl the gauge cluster also.
I assume you were talking everything that is not trans/driveline related.

on the AT the 13G turbo uses smaller banjo bolts, water lines are smaller.
and the water pipe has a smaller fitting where the w. line screws in.

Perfect, I'll add it to the list!

Correct, keeping it auto, just swapping out all the other things that were different on automatics vs. manuals. Figured not much of it is too invasive of a swap, most of it will likely get replaced/upgraded anyway. I'm just not going for some wild, over the top build here...so I figured getting rid of all the slower, auto stuff, was the least I could do to bump up performance.
