Auto Trasmission shifter is off one position???

OK, I just installed a Translab shiftkit and swapped out the endclutch. I just tried to back the car out of the garage, but when I put the shifter in reverse the tranny went to neutral. When I put it in neutral, it goes to drive.... What did I do wrong?

did you pull the tranny out to do this? it sounds like your shifter it out of adjustment at the trans side of the cable...

when you put the valve body back in you put the manual shift valve in the wrong position.
