Sarnia,
Hello. I am currently tearing down my 1995 talon awd trans and replacing clutches, steels, bushings, shift kit etc.

Teardown of the front clutch basket revealed a piston with several small cracks in it. I assume they are stress cracks just wondering if anyone knows if this is a reusable part or not? I dont think the cracks are all the way through but there is quite a few of them. I pulled the rear clutch piston to see if it had comparable marks and it is spotless... so this worries me. Pictures attached.

Thanks for any help in advance.

yes i would prefer to not use it but im not having any luck finding a replacement. I posted here in hopes that a rebuilder would see the picture and tell me that the cracks were fine and i have nothing to worry about :)wishful thinking i suppose.
