auto trans problem

ok i have a 95 talon tsi awd turbo and it drove fine but all of a sudden my transmission started to act like if it was in neutral only in 4th gear though all the rest are fine...when i drive with the overdrive button off its all good but when i put it on once it hits 4th gear it starts to act like neutral...

is it ok to drive it around with the over drive off
i notice my oil pressure gauge goes up higher i guess due to the higher rpm because i dont have a 4th gear....### could it be and if i drive it like that is it ok

Check your end clutch...aka overdrive clutch

dude I hate to tell you but your overdrive is screwed you need to rebuild your trany .... happened to me on a Lincoln I had only got to 2nd gear and went blank, my 3rd and od were bad, if your trany gets to 4th and then blanks out or goes neutral like you say then your overdrive is broken and you will need to rebuild... sorry and good luck.
