I have a 92 talon N/T with an auto trans, if i give it WOT the car works fine goes through all the gears no slipping at all, but if im crusing at 30 or 40 mph at 20% throttle the trans starts to slip. I have no idea what to check for, the fluid is new and the level is good.

Had a similar problem on my gsx. Turned out to be bad torque convertor and the clutch ends were bad. If you stomp on it from a dead stop what does it do?

Yea then it probably is the clutch ends. When was the last time you had your tranny flushed?

just got the car so its has probley never been changed, how hard is it to change the clutch ends.

Find out if it was ever flushed and do that first. I let the dealership do mine. I had my whole tranny rebuilt for 1500.

If your ATF is full and fresh then add a bottle of Lubegard in the black bottle before trying anything expensive.
