Auto tranny Seems like its not driving in 4th gear? staying in third

Not sure what it is or if the end clutch is toast or not. I can't feel overdrive engage when i press the buttom but the trans doesn't just rev like most people say it would when the end clutch is gone. When the car reaches the speed at where 4th gear should be it just keeps going as if it where still in 3rd gear i think. Is driving at 4500-5000 rpm normal for 120km/h i dont think so that can only mean its still in 3rd gear? any ideas i think i just need to get an IPT end clutch kit. Let me know what you guys think.

I also noticed that basically all my enine mounts are snapped front is gone and so is rear side almost to don't know how so im getting prothane mounts now.

End clutch is cheap and easy; I'd do that first and see if that fixes the problem.

i was thinking the solenoid might be stuck the one that controls overdrive im so sick and tired of auto dsm i considering selling and getting manual so much simpler. But eitherway i need to fix it first if it where just the end clutch wouldnt it just rev? when it hits 4th i mean i can take third gear to redline that is not normal.

I'm not sure. Mine would just flare when it shifted into O/D, so I went ahead and changed the end clutch right then. I have heard of it acting both ways-- just revving, and not going into O/D at all.
