There is little to no information on auto tranny removal and installation... and How to do it safely from the whole engine on the hoist... You don't want it to rest on the oil pan, or the mains, when the pan is off.. but What bolts need to come off? and do I need to take the drive plate off? this thing is heavy, so I dont wanna mess this up.. I have to take this off to get to the rear main seal, and replace the seal and the gasket, how should I go about that as well? Thanks guys, pictures would be much appreciated.

I have redone the whole engine, the only thing i didn't touch was the tranny.. the first time i installed the tranny, it cracked a little bit due to the angle and weight of it, but thats fixed and I don't want to ruin it again, so I am waiting for some input from you guys!
