Well i have a few questions here. I have an automatic tsi and a manual tsi. The manual has a f-ed up frame and i am taking the entire engine and tranny + drivetrain out and put it in the manual one. I am accually in the process right now, so far iv got just about everything torn out of the automatic car and preping it for the new motor and tranny. But the problem is the wiring. I know the automatic has smaller injectors so ill need the manual ecu, thats fine since i have a whole car. BUT, getting the harness wired, more specifically the neutral saftey switch and the speed sensor. Lets say i were to cross the nuetral safety and have it always ready to go, wont the car not boost past 5psi? Iv heard when the car is in nuetral with the automatic or the clutch is in it will only boost to 5psi. And if it is as simple as wiring it to the clutch pedal switch, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the auto tranny so i can get my spedo and reverse lights working correctly?

Do you want the wiring diagram for the tranny itself? Or the chasis diagram.

for the tranny or both so i know how to hook up the speed sensor and the park/nuetral saftey switch. If you can get ahold of those that would be wonderful

Thanks that helps with the starting problem, now i just need diagrams for the speed sensor and the reverse lights.

This is the wiring for the tranny.

Thanks man, but do you know how i might be able to spot the speed sensor out on the tranny right away. Any particular signs of it? I did a tranny conversion on my 90 240sx and that was a cake walk, the only rewiring needed was the nuetral park switch on the inhibitor and u needed a power lead for the reverse lights with a ground and the speed sensor was the exact same connector and the sensor was in the same place on both auto and manual, so it just plugged right on in. Reverse light sensor is usually the sensor closest to the front of the tranny (flywheel side), ill post my stick from another site about tranny conversions from ka-t.org, my name is NissanFreak on that site, but they dont know iv converted to the ways of the dsm :rocks: . But this thread still gives alot of information on the concept of the process, because in reality its still basically the same. Oh nm the site is debugging right now??? Ill repost later :talon:
