i keep looking but to no avail to find a 1g auto to manual swap tutorial. i found a 1g that someone already did the swap, but they did nothing with the wiring harness, so it has pronlems. it is a 1g ,was auto, now 5 speed, all pedals and everthing alse done.it starts and all but something with the wiring is got to be wrong.
is the car worth 1,000 the way it sits........ strait clean non dented gst????????????????????????????????? does any one know what i have to do to the wiring harness? thank you in advanced

someone told me to check to see what motor the car had originally,,come to find out that it was only a 1.8 sohc car so i dont think its worth the hassle

I personally dont think it would be worth it if it started out its life as a 1.8 car. I will give the person credit for attempting to make it into a manual trans turbo car, but there is a lot less hassle and cause for concern when the car starts out that way to begin with.

all you would really need is engine wiring harness and ecu and of course sensors too the trans ecu is separate from engine ecu
