Okay I put an auto harness in my maunal gst, the guy that redid the auto harness took off all the auto connectors, but left the manual.
Im getting no power to my fuel pump or starter. Ive already tried jumping the starter and no success. If anyone that has done this swap can chime in that would be great. I have import face off in 4 days and im trying to get it running by then. Also im getting power to everything else, the radio, power locks, ect.

I'm not sure how this affects your setup, but there's a ground wire connected to the auto shifter. It has to be grounded for the auto cars to start. If you have that plug that goes to the Park/Neutral position switch, loop pin 7 & 8 together. The connector has 12 pins (in 3 rows). Looking in it 1-12 left-to right. It should be a black wire and a black & red striped wire. It's connector #A-101, and that means it ought to be loose in the engine bay because there's nothing there to plug it into. It must be on the harness where the auto trans shift linkage would have been.

Or you could just ground pin #3 on the starter relay. The black & red wire goes to it. I wish I could tell you where it is, it's connector #B-96, which means it's in the dash, but there is nothing in the electrical service manual regarding it's location. Everything else is listed. I guess it must be a secret? All I know is it junctions with the Auto-Cruise control system and the MFI System.

What do I know? I'm just a guy with a '97 Mitsubishi electrical service manual?

Well I've already looped the two wires, and all the grounds are good, is there anything else that would kill the power to my starter and fuel pump?

have you checked your m.f.i relay i'm not sure where it's located on the 2nd gen but the 1 gen its mounted next to the ecu, it supplies the power to the fuel pump and ect.

or the m.p.i relay it might be called dont have my manual in front of me i know you can perform a test on it to check and see if its bad, refer to the manual as for the readings you should get with a volt meter

I put a whole manual harness in my car, c-67 was the only difference. It you have a hacked harness, that you didn't do your in for some fun. Took me a week off and on to deal with one wrong plug...

Make sure the connectors are pluged in under the fusebox, and same for the 3 in the passenger side kickpanel. What did he do to adapt the starter harness?

Did you check to see if your mpi relays even getting power?

There is no good way to make that work w/o a lot of cutting and spliceing.
