I want to buy a set of 15" rota subzeros. They have a 40 mm offset and was wondering how detremental would this be to my suspension, and drive train. I plan on Auto-crossing with these. Any advice? I want them because they are cheap (guy selling them for $350 with tires) so no need in mentioning plus size wheels.

They will have no effect on your drivetrain. Actually the main thing you need to worry about with a poor offset is wheel bearings. But you're only pushed out 6 mm further than stock. <30 mm is where you need to start worrying about wheel bearings. 40 mm is actually a pretty ideal offset. You should have no rubbing issues with whatever tires will fit those wheels. It looks like those wheels are 6.5" wide. Probably a 215 tire would be a good choice.

Nice choice by the way. Those wheels weigh only 12 lbs.
