Carol Stream, IL,
Hey guys i am asking for some serious help. My car is running like shit right now. Its like one problem after the other lately. After installation of my clutch last thursday my car has not ran right.
Here is the problem: Idle speed @ 1500-2000RPM after about 7 minutes of operation of vehicle (at operating temperature).During deceleration A/F ratio goes RICH right off the throttle then goes stoich to lean and fluctuates back and forth. (Fuel is not suppost to be fed into the cylinders during decelaration AT ALL)
Here is the diagnosis i did: I replaced both coolant temp sensors (one for ECU and other for sending unit to the gauge). The coolant temp sensor is RESPONDING because i looked at it with a OBDII scanner. During high idle operation it was reading normal temp (210 F). Now during high idle the A/F is not at RICH it fluctuates back and forth as it would normally at crusing speed. MASS AIR is working as i was getting about 4.4g/s at the high idle. o2's are working properly as the computer is reading them. My vacuum gauge reads a steady 16" hg at high idle. Looked for any loose vacuum lines and found none. The ISC i have has been replaced before (from a junked 92 tsi AWD). But i beleive if the ISC was bad it would flucuate the idle back and forth.
Now what i beleive is left is the ECU itself. So here is what i am asking.... I need a ECU from another vehicle just to test if that is my problem. Im not sure if it has to be YEAR and MODEL specific ECU.....but i am asking to loan an ECU from someone else to see if mine is ####ed. I will pay you to use it. My car is a 1995 GS-T. Thank you very much guys.
