I know your not sorry if i came off harsh. People do stick it all in the cab with them. I just personal recomend against it. but its wrong or right.

Yea you can put it in the engine bay. I personal would look at putting maybe in your inner fender if you want to hide it.

    Two quick questions...

    1) If the meth is the Walmart Super tech stuff thats like 30-40% meth is it still bad to breath in?

    2) I have heard VERY conflicting comments on this but should an Intake Air Temp sensor be before or after the injection nozzle? These guys say after http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tun...l-free-speed-density-tuning-software-1gs.html but a couple post i read said, before, so your engine knows the temp of the air its about to receive. I would think the only reason not to put it after would be the meth messing up the sensor. Any hard evidence on this? I sorta want the IAT after the nozzle I want an idea of how much drop in temp Im getting!

the quote above is from 2 years ago...

Has anything changed with the kit so that it can be used with E85?

im pretty sure they are talking about running e85 threw the meth injection kit. Not running e85 and injecting meth.

the 15% of gasoline in e85 will eat up the seals in the meth injection kit if you run it threw the kit.

disregard this is if you want to inject e85 threw the meth kit.

So I can use a meth kit if I am running E85 only, not straight gas? I'm thinking of running 100% meth through the kit on E85 fuel. Can that be done? Is it safe?

Sorry, I'm kind of confused about meth kits.

it doesn't matter what fuel you are using threw the factory fuel rail.

not trying to be an ass but i would do a little more research because if you understand how the system works you would not even give this question a second guess, you would know that it doesn't matter what kind of gas you are burning.

Well, it kind of does. You don't want to chill the incoming air to the point where you don't get full vaporization of the E85 at the head. The hotter the incoming temps, the more effective the chilling factor of the alcohol that you inject.

in terms of being able to run the kit or not i would say it doesn't matter.

i don't know about you but my turbo seams to take care of most of that problem for me.

I just want to let everyone know i am here to answer all your water methanol injection questions. This really helps make more power on forced induction applications.

    Benefits Of Water-Methanol Injection:

    * Increase horsepower safely by 10-15%
    * Lower air temperatures by 50-200+ degrees
    * Increases octane when you need it under boost.
    * Reduces cylinder temperatures up to 300+ degrees
    * No wear issues only clean combustion chambers
    * Allows you to safely run more boost and timing

FYI Stage 1 kit is PLUG AND PLAY on 2gs!!!!

as you can see you can remove one of the front or rear window sprayer motors and the meth tap fits 100% no modification

    0610001821.jpg

Now running the meth line is almost as easy! I had to drill a bit into the spare tire support but not much at all as you can see.

    0612001844.jpg

I ran the line along the passenger door jam and tapped right after intercooler NO MORE KNOCK!!!!!

Would mounting the nozzles under my intercooler pipe for a cleaner install cause any issues? Can it cause some fluid to pool around the nozzle after it stops spraying?

I recommend putting the nozzles in between the 11-1 o'clock orientation in the piping.

So basically you recommend installing the nozzle at the top of the pipe so that it is pointing (practically) straight DOWN into the air stream?

Is that the same for the outside mount nozzles with the recessed orifice? It seems like they would be more effective pointing up into the air stream. Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.:)

I think you will run better with alittle fuel pulled out. Shoot for 11.5 and see how it runs.

I'm sure this has been covered, but I'm going to go ahead and ask a few questions. Is it possible to run too big of a nozzle. My car runs fine it made 447whp on low boost, but it likes to run around 12.9 -13.2 afr. If you richen it up it starts knocking. Any advice?

yea you can run to big. Its pretty common for people to run to big and as a bandaid just run more methanol in the mix and pull fuel out to make the a/f straight out. If you keep it at a 50/50 mix and you run to large of a nozzle you will know it by having a bog or loosing power.

We are running an 80meth to 20 distilled water. There is no bogging or loss of power dyno graph goes straight up. We have the biggest nozzle in the car right now. It is a 35r car built motor, 280 cams, ported head etc.
