I will take 400$. Plus your shell. All mine needs is the old head milled, the cams and lifters out back in it and swapped. I could do it in 2 days. I just needed something dependable and not using the old ladies ride to go to school and work.

The rims and tires are worth that much. And I have a couple of stock rims also. Il be keeping one of those for a full size spare for the.cut.

Ill take you up on the offer when i get the money.:D

If you want to call it a "whole car" it was a shell with a half way put together engine but for the price and all the other misc. parts that guy gave us it was well worth $300.00 . Hell spencer could scrap that shell and get $300 back but what a waste of a straight 1 gb body. I'm not complaining. I just find it ironic to say the least. I will say where we picked that car up was in a tight spot and we had a hard time finding him underneath that hill. Nice guy tho. Especially giving away free parts.

I hadn't been around the car in a while. Drove it to where it was parked. -shrug- See if I ever try to be helpful in the future. :p Next time I'll sell the shortblock for $600 + $1 per miles' travel for the person picking it up.

I wasn't complaining. I should have built that car instead of the 90 nightmare car. Hell. The working speedo cable cost what the car does Haha.

Im just sooo spent on this thing. If I get your shell brandon. It will be put together slowly for years. And one day I can drive it. But until then il have a reliable DD.

Start my new job next week making well enough money to feed the parasite LOL and get my project rolling will be starting a project page too looking for a spare engine too 7bolt 97+ or maybe even a 4g64, going for a stroker so I should be less of a lurker and more talkative LOL.

will see who else wants to show.

In the mean time, I am going to have to find a parasitic battery drain. It kills the battery overnight… ughhh

I'll be there you can count on it. The best way to know you have a drain and not a dead cell in the battery is to charge up the battery, unhook to positive cable, and with a test light probe the positive battery lead. If it lights up you have a drain. At that point you could start unplugging stuff to find where you have a draw on the system. I used that method this last week on a piece of equipment at work. Turned out to be a bad diode coming off the alternator. I'm not saying you have a bad diode I'm just saying the method works. When I unhooked the wire with the diode inline of it my test light went out on the positive cable. Replaced the diode and waaalaaaa . Starts every morning now. Before that it wouldn't hold a charge after it sit 24 hrs and the battery on this thing was freaking huge compared to our batteries. Plus it was a new battery. Try it out and let me know. You might have a better way of doing it and if you do i would like to know your secret:thumb:

LOL a dollar a mile doesn't sound unreasonable. Still at $600 that would have been fair for just the engine. Spencers car has the Talons interior. Everything except the carpet. We would have changed to carpet but it had ants so we swapped all the seats and the center console. I will say I like the dark interior theme with tan leather seats in his 1ga. The colors break up nicely. Not to much tan and with his dark carpet and dash it makes those seats really pop.

I can't believe you don't remember where Indian head lake is..... mom took us there all the time but it was a long time ago. Remember the lake with the slides in the water and the paddle boats. I remember swimming out to the middle of the lake cause there was a paddle boat in the middle abandoned so i got it LOL

Damn thought you was going to fix-er up. Ohh well. I need some help guys.....I got me a turbo today and was wondering what kind of flange I have. I don't know if its a T3 or T4. The Turbo is a TA3401 Garret turbo. I pulled it off a GPU (ground power unit) and want to use it on my car. Of course I'll have to have a few modifications before hand. I know i won't be able to bolt this thing up and ride but some advice wouldn't hurt. Or should i just sell it? I found a website that sells these new for about $1700 and know would'nt get that much for it but I don't need something just lying around waiting to get messed up. It has 12 blades on the front and 11 blades on the hot side. Idk what kind of an engine this thing came off of. I think it was a cummins I6 but the yellow paint screams cat.

Shoot the pictures over to JUSMX

For as long as I have known cummins has used holset turbos. Garrets we have go on john deere engines on the base but they are alot smaller then that thing so cat would be my next guess and I think that looks like a t4 turbo flange but don't quote me on that cause it could be bigger

Here are some pics of the compressor wheels. The first is the cold and the second the hot.
