Yeah it's the price we dsmer's pay for having a little fun.I would really like to take it to the strip and see what she'll run in the 1/8.James is the newport strip still running? I would like to come up there and put in a few passes. AL are you coming to the meet? On another note. I've been commuting to and from LR this past month and have been taking note each week on how my mpg is. With what mods I have and running between 60-70 mph I have been getting 30-32 mpg. Last week I had 32mpg. This week i had 30 mpg. My commute is entirely interstate. The only time off the interstate is when I leave my home ( which i can see the freeway from my porch) and when I exit off at Bank head Dr at the airport.Then maybe a mile till i park it. I'm really surprised at the fuel economy this little car gets. As long as I'm under 70 tho....... 70 is right at 3k rpms. So far i haven't had to sit in much traffic. A few times but not standstill. If you don't believe me do the math by dividing your mileage by your gallons when you fill the tank.. I had 403 miles and used 13.108 gallons that's 30.744 mpg.

Keep your foot out of them and have no boost leaks and they do great. ;)

I had a 98 gst and it got around 470 miles to a tank. The highest mpg I had it at was 45 cruising at 68 on the highway
 
Well. My gsx is for sale. Id like to sell tge whole thing for 1200. That's with all my spare parts. Im spent on this thing. If not. Kei gets tge motor and I scrap this ####ing nightmare.
 
For right now, I'd just love the headstuds. :p

Go buy the engine from him and send me the headstuds.
 
500$. If you pull it. 650 if I pull it. Il throw in a spare head (all it needs is milled. You wilk have to swap heads. GVR4 Pistons, 1g big rods, OEM balance shaft elimination kit, lightwieght fkywheel (you can sell for 100) ARP head studs (which you could sell for 100). Revised lifters. I got two intake.manifolds. the CAS is replaced . The along with a new starter(2 turnovers). Newer throttle.body. new coil pack. New plugs and wires. Turbo has minimul shaft play. New water pump.
And all the wires you can grab. If your doing a 6 bolt swap. Also have a 90 EEPROM for 90$. Negiotable.

Hey i need to come out there and get that rear diff out of the parts car. Since your outta the game I'd pull it and set it to the side. You ###### just going to have to scrap the shell of the other car.
 
Also a prud owner of a 96 cutlass supreme 2dr 3100 V6. Loaded. 97000 miles on her.

I don't want to deal with shipping that stuff though.... if you want. You give me half and come get it (I can meet partial way.) And you can double your money ;)
 
Wassup! Guess Im the noob to DSM's. I live here in searcy, ar and have been referred here by DSML7dropkick and V8killer. Im sure a meet would be great once i get the talon going!

Damn Spencer he would be getting the motor back that he sold you. Just put back together and a transmission. LOL here you go Brandon. You need to just buy his car and fix his. Then you would have a 5 speed and awd. I propose a trade. Trade your 2g for his 1g and some boot. That way me and Spencer can build the block I got using your head and other misc. parts. See works out for everyone involved.:hellyeah:

I game for what ever we got a lot of work either way. I would buy it but it's been hard with no job n your daily driver broke LOL. Just text me.

If you want to call it a "whole car" it was a shell with a half way put together engine but for the price and all the other misc. parts that guy gave us it was well worth $300.00 . Hell spencer could scrap that shell and get $300 back but what a waste of a straight 1 gb body. I'm not complaining. I just find it ironic to say the least. I will say where we picked that car up was in a tight spot and we had a hard time finding him underneath that hill. Nice guy tho. Especially giving away free parts.
 
I will take 400$. Plus your shell. All mine needs is the old head milled, the cams and lifters out back in it and swapped. I could do it in 2 days. I just needed something dependable and not using the old ladies ride to go to school and work.

The rims and tires are worth that much. And I have a couple of stock rims also. Il be keeping one of those for a full size spare for the.cut.
