just wondering your opions here on a trip,

looking to have a meet up in a couple of weeks or month get together,show,car wash,cruise then tear up the local street racers and show them what dsm is all about. it would be located here in wichita ks.

would anyone be interested in this? me and another dsmer from kansas city are setting this up.

Going to race for some pinks maybe? Double clutching and all that? GTFO. Keep your street racing shit in your pms. I would not drive all the way to kansas to possibly get my shit towed. Just because we are one of the most active regions in the" midwest" doesn't mean we fast and furious it all over the place. Haha have a nice day!

Anyways. Cabot2g you can get a oem oil return line from JNZtuning. But seeing as you have an aftermarket one. If I told the wife I had to pay 400$ for a little pipe, well I wouldn't live to tell you the end result. LOL ;)

If you need, I have a block, crank, etc - just needs rods and pistons. Going to need a bore as well. Already has a BSE - and it's a 7 bolt so no mods needed. $150 for everything and I'll toss in any spare parts I have. Then all you do is drop your head on, bolt everything up, and drop the engine in. Bore + Pistons + rings will come out somewhere around $200 if you shop around. So you'd have $350 in all on a freshened block. ;) Plus it'd help me out a ton.

Before you jump on his case about the street racing, look up cash days by 1320vidoes.com. I don't know if he is affiliated with them but it gives you some idea of how they do street racing in the Midwest. If its anything like the cash days ordeal, these guys are for real. Also, people drive a whole lot farther to street race then us to Kansas. If I had a car ready and I knew it was competitive, I would go.

Ok pal. Before you jump on my case, why don't you read the site rules about street racing? Even if they are for real and people drive further this and that yadda yadda yadda does not make a shit to me. Ask me about shit like this offline you might get a diff view, but.goddamn leave it off the forums. This is a place to get info and shoot the shit. Not to setup illegal activities. Maybe if I was setting up drug deals (which I dont even do drugs) onlineor talking about shooting mutha####as and what not? Leave that shit off here. Wait whynam I explaining myself? #### if I know.

And if I wherento go the distance from here to kansas. I could probably hit a few tracks and not have to worry about fcking street racing.

I believe if there was more tracks around. Street racing would drop drasticly. Hell I would slow the #### down if I had a local track.

No but for real shit sucks, and I'm sure pulling these hub assemblies off tomorrow will be a fun job. With my luck everything will be seized up.
 
Wow ok, #### the rules, opinions should be the same on and off line. Didn't know you were an admin or mod. If you street race, you shouldnt chastise him the way you did, just because he posted on an open forum.

Also if you wanted to follow the rules you wouldn't have posted like that, to me you broke this rule: No insults, smart ass replies, or elitist attitudes. Do not act like a moderator and remind others of our rules, or nitpick when a member makes a grammatical mistake or asks a repetitive question. Report the post and move on

Also I didn't ask if you gave a shit, just trying to give you incite and help you consider other possibilities, but it seems like you are to close minded for it. Lets just agree to disagree and move on. I agree to both sides. Your right Spencer about the rules and your right James about him getting on his ass. In the words of Rodney King "Can't we all just get along." No need to harp on the subject to long or this will end up badly for all parties. I'm not trying to get involved or to be partial since one is my brother and the other a friend. Not everyone will see eye to eye on this subject. I'm just saying let it go Spencer and James. Good job Spencer for trying to keep the rules in mind and good job James for standing up for the little guy. I would consider this post as "settling the disagreement" and move on.:applause:. On another note is the meet still going on at Indian head lake? The 28th is coming up quick.

I won't make it this meet maybe the next. I need to change gears in the wagon before I go to far. 4.88s th350 and a 3200 converter is not very highway friendly.
 
You kids meed to stop popping acid and steroids while I'm offline. I end up missing the exciting posts.

Talon should be up in 3 weeks. Picking up the new bottom end this coming weekend, grabbing the TMZ southbend the following week, and assembling/dropping it all in on the 3rd week. Just need to decide on a turbo now. I won't be making a meet until after the shootout, sadly. We should get local word out and set up a meet based on number.
