Nah, none of them have even shown up. This is all on my old setup after it stopped eating the couplers.

nah, if it was missing it would sound like shit when I play with the throttle, LOL. Just sounds like it wants to eat something.

Yeah it does! For some reason my car just runs like straight crap until it gets about 120 degrees. Replaced the engine coolant temp sensor and didn't change anything. I did buy it for a 97 model though(out if habit) wonder if it would cause it to run like that. I checked the tuning part and it's almost perfect. Really really close to perfect. Spent almost two hours idle tuning.

I remember reading something about the 4g63 running like crap until it warmed up and there was a reason, let me look around for it (think it was in a book I have) If I find it, i'll let ya know.

I don't know why and don't quote me but I think it had soemthing to do with the ignition or electricals... I'll just find it, haha.

Man I wish I could just get in mine and go for a ride.

1) Scary as hell on the road out from my place, IF for any reason you dip your tires off that narrow ass road, you're going down a 130ft drop into the lake, three people died last year out here going off it. . . They still haven't put up guard rails. . .

2) I own a DSM, like many of us on here, there is that dreaded feeling something is going to explode, implode, snap, twist, fall off, or when you have those good days and you get somewhere.... Not start when you're ready to go home.

Check your wires on it for a clean connection but I don't think that's your issue. I'm running a HKS turbo timer and it doesn't do anything for mine.

LOL! If I don't have a sound from somewhere, something is seriously wrong, I pull over and check everything until I hear a sound again. Just how I look at my DSM

aaaannnnnnnd that's why I went with Jack for my trans. But nah they're both great, check your fuild make sure you put the right stuff in it and change it out. I change my trans fluid every time I change my engine oil.

I'm running AWD, sir. Get it up on a lift and it takes just a few minutes.

Think I just need to replace the TB, my tps is gone and i'm gonna have it out to replace that so might as well replace it all.

EDIT- Anyone know if the TPS from the 2g is the same as a 1g? If so, does anyone have one that I can pick up? Thought about it and I just don't want to deal with taking those coolant lines off.

1 : Depending on what gear set you chose from Shep, harder gears (high amounts of nickle) will cause gear whine on decel. Check your fluid for sparkles. If there is no glitter just get used to the noise. Richmond gear sets commonly found in domestic muscle cars are a good example of this.

2 : If you delete the coolant lines to the throttle body you need to close the FIAV which will also cause issues with the car running like a turd until it's warm. Scott Dojka did a write-up on how to close your FIAV for free with a pair of pliers.

3 : TPS are not the same between years. Find a 2g/1g TPS accordingly. Otherwise you will encounter a few issues.

4 : Need a 2g drive shaft. Any sellers?

Yeah. It takes a few minutes. I had to keep telling myself it wasn't closed - sure enough it took about 20 more turns past what I thought was boleing bottomed out.

Well for the record, CTS year as well as model specifics do matter. First hand experience - the ECU's are looking for certain resistances and multiple sensors read differently.

Go with a 95 CTS and match the pigtail. Then bring me the car. :p
