Crank bearing is done for. Have to get the crank machined cause it has pretty bad scuff marks on it too.

Sounded like hell but ran. I never drove it. It started and idled but I shut it off immediatley. Maybe 5-9 seconds top.

Well. Got my head off and idk why it started running the way it did...head seemed good, head gasket was good and block so far looks in decent condition. Little notch in cylinder 4 but it wouldn't have ran like it did with that. Gonna pull the block now and see if I find anything else wrong. Any input?

Well it was running prior to the tear down but I would have the head checked to make sure that isn't the problem before removing the block. Could be burnt valves in the cylinder not making the compression. If there isn't a hole in the piston then that eliminates the pistons. bad rings would smoke like a train due to oil getting in the combustion chamber. Anything lower than the piston isn't going to affect compression unless you have a broke rod BUT I'm sure that would be a no brainer and you would have pulled the engine from jump street.

Not sure, I owned it for 1 day and drove it 2 miles to my house. Maybe bad oil, not sure.

I bet that is why the notch was in the hotside!!!!

Do 16g have the oil restrictor made in the top of the turbo like the t25 or do you have to use the restrictor for like a 14b?

I literally just pulled them all out by simply pulling on them, but one was somewhat tight. The one that saved the day. The crank bearings have very little wear, but I'm going to go ahead and replace them all with the ACL race kit. That was definitely the sound in the video .

Can someone help me clarify what this set contains. I know it has main and rod bearings, but does it come with the thrust bearings? It asks for block year, and sizes of rod and main bearings.

hmm I need to get socket sodered in my pcm... anyone got steady hands I got the stuff to soder it. My car is running hot and with fans blairing its not getting cooler... I think it might be the water pump... I pressure tested the cooling system never lost a psi over 10 minutes holding pressure... I think the impeller blades on the water pump broke some how and its not moving coolant like it should. Im going to do the water pump and my depowered rack at the same time so I don't have to reinstall the power steering pump.

Now I have somewhat of a video. Not the greatest but I was holding the phone and doing 130+ . Poor Acura thought because he had HID's and a fart pipe he was fast. !!!!!!!!!! Sad thing was this was the second time I got him. I was head to head the first time and I left him sitting . The video here was I let him go by and wanted to run him down. You can hear him accelerating just as I am getting past but it's only for a second He wouldn't pull back up to me before I had to exit....

Best thing about getting off at 12:30 AM is cops are scarce

Is this a reply to me? If so then no. I sold the dsm for the Kia. I no longer am operating a dsm but a kdm.... The kdm is loving the colder weather. Pulls harder up top when below 50

FINALLY! IT'S ALIVE! After months and months and months of working on her and years of storage time while going to a culinary university... She's back! Finished the last few needed bolts about 20minutes ago and enjoyed the first drive under boost in a long time. God I missed AWD.
