Yeah, I already checked on that. They said they'll be at my door at 8:15. I know what I'll be doing all day Monday, drinking beer with my dad and working on the DSM... It'll be a good day.

FedEx pissed me off today... Set to drop off my order on Monday, It's in town now... So I call to come pick it up and they said it's good to come get it. I get there and they tell me it was put on a truck and on the way to my place... I get back home and there is a notice on my door. I give them a call and they call the driver, He's not going to have time to come drop it off at either the FedEx store or my place. SO NOW, I have to wait until Monday... Guess that's just some extra time I have to clean my dirty engine, haha.

Fedex as a whole pisses me off. Actually fed ex shipping is a deal breaker for me.

Here's a story, they send something to my old house once, 402 first st, it was a cell phone. They sent it to 402 south first st. Which is on rainbow island 5 miles away, it was set on a rock, IN AN ABANDONED ALLEY IN THE ####ING RAIN!!!!

WTF?!?! yeah, I'd be done with FedEx.. here's the thing that got me, My neighbor said they just walked up to my door put a sticker on it and walked off, I had family there that could have gotten it. It's my transmission from Jack so it's something like 125lb... I figure they just didn't want to deal with something like that... If they were to leave that out on a rock somewhere.. No one will like what I'd end up doing.

so the 2g non turbo and the 2g turbo rack and pinion come out the same way right?
they are the same part already verified that with 2 parts stores.

Im working on a nt heatshield got it from U-pull-it for 10 bucks making it fit over my fp manifold.

And before anyone asks yes cutting with the butter knife has been a bi***!!

The hell, dude. Cutting it with a butter knife is insane. I have a grinder somewhere I can bring over if you need it. It'll take you a few seconds over your few hour butter knife cut.

After you clean it up I think it'll look nice, Hows do the bolt holes matching up? I think i'll just end up wrapping mine.... one day, gotta keep the heat down.

I'm moving out to velvet ridge (out near bald knob) with my girlfriend. Not yet, I believe my tps went out and I'm not 100% sure that's it...but I'm pretty sure, expensive part too

I bet you can get one on Ebay for around $25. Or even someone selling a used 2g TB and take it off that

I was thinking he spent some time in the joint. You'd be surprised what they can do with a butter knife.

Yea ihave it all cut I just gotta figure a mounting solution, but all day ive been fighting with the drive shaft dropped the shaft and transfer case in less than an hour removed the old yoke but I cannot get the new yoke finished, ive spent 5 hours but I just cannot get the second circlip in and thats using the smallest ones the silvers I dont kno what else to try ive hammered and atempted jaw clamps

i got a friend looking for a 2g gsx fuel sending unit. He dosent really need pump just the hanger assembly... the one he took of was mangled pretty bad. Any one got one they can part with cheap? pm me.

I wonder if you can use those two bolts from your manifold->turbo to hold your heat shield in place. It shouldn't effect anything and looks like a good mounting place, just cut the wholes you need in the shield.

My trans will be in tomorrow so i'll be busy with that but if you can't get it in and have a free day let me know, I'll come over and we'll finish it up, I have that funky tool to put them in with.

Pulling the motor tomorrow and putting ACL Race bearings in! I can't wait to get it done!

Well gotta figure out what year model block I have. 95-97(june) or 97-99, then I can figure out the thrust type then order.

In case anybody wants to know. The junk yard on baseline in LR doesnt have any DSM. They do have a dodge avenger 2 door with AGX shocks that look to be in good condition. Springs looked aftermarket but I couldnt tell. The avenger 2 door has the same suspension has the FWD 2gDSM I think. The avenger has some ugly ebay projects headlights which makes it stand out.

Everything is off but tranny left the jack at work so gotta wait till tomorrow to remove tranny and put the engine on the stand.
