Is it the Turbo? Those are quick for a 4 door but hell the NA still has 200 hp. We love our optima .... Maybe all the wives can buy KIA's and they can have meets the same time we do.... PM sent on the rack and pinion. It should be real easy to remove due to there being no engine and the tie rod ends are just finger tight. I got my engine in and am working on hooking hooking up the wiring harness, etc..... I need a licp for a 14b for sure before she will run. Im going to hunt one on here or just flebay it. Bobby I got the grommets for my injectors at Napa . It f^&%^& cost me 18 dollars but it was worth it after dealing with the retards in home depot for about 45 minutes with a guy up my ass telling me they didn't have them over and over again . Thanks for offering to pick them up for me though. I thought about it but I didn't want to burden you with it.

There is a linked FOD Fuse out under the hood, usually under a cap that holds two fusible links together. This usually drives the interior lights.

yea its the turbo with like 275hp or something. It has every option (SXL); the cooled seats should be nice this summer! My friends enjoyed the heated rear seats too. :hellyeah:

I would love to buy a T-model optima for myself but i would have to live in it to afford the monthly payment..... They are pricy. You should have bought a used one. bale kia has a 12 model SXL-T with 15xxx miles fully loaded for 24K. I looked at it myself. The only difference between yours and the one I looked at was the wheels. The 12 had the 18" pizza cutter wheels.

SXL was new for 2013, they were released late summer 2012, and labled them as 2013 LOL. Every SXL has the same chrome 18" wheels, and can only be black, white or blue. They have more chrome trim, led front bumper lights, and nappa leather(feels like baby butt). Check out the site, they are badass! Yours must have been a loaded SX, which are very nice also.

My wife doesn't mess with used cars, rather know I had my hands on it only :D

I like used, but when shes paying for it, she can have whatever she wants :coy:

Well I have been trying to get my upper, and forward lower ball joints broke loose so i can slip my axles out, but the nuts are the way out and the ball joints wont pop loose. Someone come get these ball joints out!!!

I have never taken the ball joints loose to remove an axle.

Disconnect the lower control arm and the strut fork from the knuckle. It will give you enough slack you can push the splines out and remove the axle.

I just beat the heck out of them with a hammer and they all popped. Must have needed to soak-up the PB blaster. :thumb:

I'm sure I could have done it that way, ill have to remember that for next time, Thanks!

anyone feel like doing a timing job on a nissan. this s13 is gettin annoying. hoping its just a timing problem just won't start getting fuel and spark but just cranks and cranks good compression judging by the exhaust note and it won't pop on starting fluid which tells me timing. anyone have any other insight to this problem before I tear the front half of this engine apart to do timing on it

Well they didn't total out my wife's escape and i now have me a nice 2600$ which will go towards a downpayment. Good thing is the escape still drives nice and has all new tires so I got a new parts hauler as well.

anyone know a good part number for the lower injector seals?

These from Home Depot, 75 cents for 2.

Thanks Zach, I lost the pic when I went to this iPhone.
I haven't been back to the store to get the part number.

As a word of advise, don't expect the employees there to know where they are or that they even have them.

They will be located in the hardware isle with the fasteners and such. They are in the Hillman pull out bins mid level of displays.

FYI... Also many other hardware stores (ACE Hardware) may have Hillman bins and should have this part as well.

I know for a fact they have them at cabots home depot

Well got all the stuff ordered for the bike, now just gotta wait and put it back together. Should run like a brand new one. Could probably use a valve adjustment, but I'm not spending 900$ on a 1100$ bike ;)

Is anyone planning to come up to Fayetteville for the Red and White game on April 20th? If so we need to all get together then as well. Admission is free and you'll get a chance to check out how the team has changed under the new leadership.

KA24 or SR20? Sounds like a bad CAS or Distributor depending on which engine you have. Or the ignition circuit is fried on the ECU.
