I am not 100% but its an A body and its black w/euro tail lights and its a 5 spd

was thinking Saturday if its dry enough.

Saturday. The earlier the better. I usually go to the farm for the weekend on Saturday afternoon or evening. The PS line fir the rack looks rusty as ####, but shouldn't be a big deal.

I ran sea foam the other day on my car and i noticed a leak on the manifold to turbo, so I removed the heat shield and noticed that one of my exhaust studs is broken and causing an air leak :sosad: its like everytime I open the hood i found something new to fix or try to fix. But anyways will this cause bad mpg ?? I been changing parts to increased mpg because i use it to commute to college and things so far i have replaced are the coolant sensor, fuel filter, wires, plugs, air filter. Is there anything else to replace to try to increase mpg ??????????? ????!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not uncommon to have exhaust break. Especially when trying to remove them, they seize from the heat.

It will affect turbo spool, and the O2 sensor since its leaking before the sensor.

It's most likely the previous owner neglected maintenance which is why your finding issues. Sound like your on the right track to getting it back up to par.

How long has it been since the timing belt was changed?

And I need your blown motor. I am still looking for a damaged head as well. I need to start mocking up the engine bay so I can fabricate parts and start on the wiring.

It seems tha aj is wanting to pick it up. It is a stick. If it Falls through I don't think he wants to part it out. He is a Honda guy and wants to get rid of it as a whole but still 800 for a long block, man trans, transfer case, drive shaft, rear diff ,etc etc.... not a bad price if you ask me. If he would part it out I'm sure he would make more than 800. It would just take longer....

I wonder whose gonna spearhead, or front mount this effort to save this DSM??!?! ;)

But do not forge the truth. You need to go check it out. It's actually a clean littke car, ;)!?!??!?

I didn't know he had gotten rid of it? Someone's got it. There is also a green one just like it running around here to.

I'm pretty much out of puns I guess LOL.

Anyone local pretty good with ECMLink?

I will be removing my DSMChips Eprom and installing the ECM Link Eprom today. Tomorrow I plan on doing some tuning.

My mods are in my sig. Would it be best for me to do the setup in this order?:

-Initial checks first (2G maf, 720cc denso with -38 global and 405 deadtime)
-TPS Adjust (stock TPS should be quick and easy setup)
-Enable LTFT Hi, Mid, and Lo like the Evo.
-Quickie AF setup
-MAFComp Adjust (not sure I need to do this cause I am running the stock maf)

My tranny is ready to drop out, my kids have made this a VERY long process. Anyways, I could use a hand to lower it and put it in the box. If anybody is available this weekend let me know. :hellyeah:

Spencer I agree lets save this DSM. Sounds like a good clean looking car. If i havent gotten too many dsm and a space for it i will sure to pick it up. With or without a motor. :hellyeah:

You cannot find AWD DSM anywhere around here.

Aj, pick up that car and swap your motor into it....done!

no engine swap for me I like my front wheel drive... if I wanted all wheel for drag racing I would go 1g sorry. I love mine for a commuter. My buddy has cash and wants to look tonight but I don't want to till its dry probably tomorrow

Drop the LTFT and the MAFComp and you'll be golden. Those won't be needed to dial things in properly. Also, keep in mind that the Global and Deadtimes are NOT exact. You can arrange those however you like to get your proper idle and fuel supply. So for instance if that's what your injectors call for, playing around might net you a perfect idle at -42 global and 320 deadtime. Just as an example.

Watching horsepower this morning. They dropped a ls into a older body RX7. Not bad! They need a tuner show.
