Are these valves junk?

Like the title states, these valves have pitting going around them but never sat for a period of time are they junk? Also these pits in the head are they going to affect anything? There is a nice dent near the valve guide also so any suggestions are welcome. Kind of pissed to get the head back from the machine shop with valves pitted and these indents so is there any solutions?

the valves sould be fine once they are ground, and have a new face on them.

but the pitting in the valve face is normal wear.

looks like at some point that the head bent valves, smooth the divits out and do not hit the seat

lap the valves in and buckle it up

what all did you have done to the head at the shop, looks like the head was surfaced on a segment stone grinder, you will be fine with a composite gasket, an MLS gasket may be "iffy" on that surface.
