stock springs are thick on 4g63's... but I doubt yours are stock, considering it looks like you have titanium spring retainers.

I bought this car for a steal the kid had no idea what he was doing so a performance shop did it all...Is there a way to tell for sure I would imagine there all redone because a performance shop would change them when they did the cams..

Any other input from anyone?

I'd assume they are stiffer spring, since you obviously got HKS cams, you'd need springs and retainers to handle them. And like FreeRevving said, those do look like titanium retainers.

You do not need after market springs and retainers to run hks cams..maybe only if u have hks 280's then u might ...stock springs have been rev'd to 8500k plus with out a problem

Is there anyway im able to tell for sure just so i know...and there 272s because i still have the boxes.

Usually the retainers have the initials of the companies that made them engraved or etched on there. I know this is true for brian crower and a few others.

Nice ill do that tomorrow and post the results.

True. But yeah on the retainers it should have a "BC" etched in(if they are Brian Crowers) or the companies, like BoredDSM said.

Measure the spring pressure to be sure. It's the only way to know for sure. Those look like stock springs. Stock springs can get away with alot if you use light retainers and valves. Less work the springs have to do the better.

I dont see anything etched in there.
