What cams and RPM do you plan in running? if under 7500 rpm use your stock retainers. ( As long as they fit the springs properly)

Planning on HKS 264/272 or any other brand that has similar profile.
 
Then you really do not need the Ti retainers.
 
I have installed a bunch of BC1100 springs with stock retainers with out a reported issue back.

I doubt you will be going 8k rpm everyday, so the stock retainers will be fine for the weekend drags/AutoX and the spirted driving that will occure now and then.

The cams you are talking about getting are not that aggressive so all should be just fine.

But if you stumble across a set of Ti retainers on a deal, then grab them, they are just nice to have, even when not really needed.

Just make sure whomever installs the springs, checks each valve's installed spring height and shims to the proper installed height.
