I'm well versed in a good bit of stuff, but turbos aren't my specialty right now. Wanted to get some advice for anyone who knows about the 60 series turbonetics turbos. The shop, who shall go unnamed, installed the turbo and didn't install a few bolts behind the compressor housing. I have heard Turbonetics doesn't use a gasket on the compressor housing back plate.
So how can I go about securing these in there and eliminating the huge boost leak it's causing? I have read people using copper RTV on the ends. Also, with the heat from the manifold/turbo, do I need to use a different type of bolt (i.e not SS)?
Thanks,
Brandon
