Are there benefits to having a larger oil pan... how many more quarts can you get in there?

Where do you get the bigger pan?

Moroso builds a bigger pan for six bolt motors. One advantage is that it is baffled with hinged doors so that you virtually eliminate the possiblity of starvation. I believe that it holds two quarts additional to the stock capacity. Naturally, if you got one, i'd fill until the dipstick said "full" and see how many it took. ;)

additional oil will simply spread out any particulate in the oil over a larger volume, and may stay cooler, but i'm not sure. There are some online resources that describe the benefits of larger pans for racing.

I would agree with Slugs above. In addition, it probably won't do you any good unless you are doing a lot of autocross.
