Larger oil filter?

Will any kind of larger filter fit the the OEM location? This thing seems tiny!

PH3950 fits a 1990 Dodge D50 with a 4 cylinder.

I use a Napa Gold part#7092 made by wix. Its used for a Lancer Evo 8

If you have a 93 you probably have 7bolt which has a smaller oil filter. 6bolts use the larger filter. you can get a relocation kit and use a bigger filer if you want.

Both fit my car. I don't see how that being a way to tell the difference between a 6 bolt and a 7 bolt, because they both fit.
