I was given a dual external oil cooler set up off a 911 track car, and these lines are -10!!! they are monsters. Each cooler is the size of our stock side mount intercoolers. Would I need to add oil since the cooler is so big, I bet it holds a quart of oil easy, the core is 14x8x2 or close to.

I have enough ss line with fittings to use them as fuel feed and return line, just would need to reduce major.

Possibly. The thing is you may or may not need to add more oil. You would be better off doing so, but then your adding more oil in the pan when the engine isn't running. Are you running a stock oil pan?

When you first install the coolers I would fill the pan up completely with oil, then just turn the motor over to prime the oil filter/coolers without starting it up. Check oil levels again and add as needed. Crank up the motor only for a few seconds to fill the oil coolers with oil then check the oil level again. Most of the oil should not drain back into the pan so you shouldn't have issues with too much oil in the pan. Also when you change the oil again some of the oil will stay in the coolers so you shouldn't have to do this process over again unless you drain the coolers.

Yes that would be correct, I did not know you were running that kind of setup. Wait till the valves open then check the oil level. Would be a good idea to watch the oil pressure gauge if you have one to make sure it doesn't drop to low when it starts sucking oil
