Nice. But comparing 1g, even 2g to 3g is like comparing a 1968 HEMI ROADRUNNER to a 1976 Volare with the roadrunner option and a 140 HP smogger 318 engine.

3gs are crap. I used to own one and now I have a ..... oh wait a gsX. The fastest 3g EVER that I heard of as of 2 months ago broke into the high 11s. Then it broke the trans and that was the last I heard from that one. All the other ones are low 13s high 12s. Impressive for a 3.0L? No.

Off the top of my head the 1st 3G in the 11s was a guy named Matt from Oregon, that was back in Feb. and he ran 11.83 @ 123.1, with a 2.17 60 ft time.
Then July 22 in West palm beach florida a guy named Ryan 11.5 @ 125.3, with a 1.9 60 ft time.
Two other 3G guys Perry P. ran 11.91 and Tom K. ran 11.98.

Comparing my 1G GSX to my friend J's Super-Charged 3G GT, there really is no comparison.
Launching his car at the track leaves much to be desired, IT spins like crazy 1 thru 3rd, even with the Quaife Limited Slip Differential in it.
We both plan on going to Raceway Park in NJ soon for some track time.

Oh, No doubt!
He spent $23,000. for the car and another $20,000. on top for all the mods.
I have not spent a 3rd of the price of his car on my GSX and all the mods I've done.
But, some good things I can say about the 3G is its a bit wider, more roomy, and has a smooth, quiet ride. Even with the SuperCharger wine.
He's got some good street kills with it... A New GTO, STI, a few 350Zs, and a few mustang GTs.
He has a 99 GS-T that I have been helping him build up.
I keep telling him to look for an AWD DSM.

yea matt is the guy I knew of going 11s. Wow ... 2 whole people that we know of. Lol I know 5 people just in my area going 11s with dsms....
