Are my cams toast?

So opened up my head to find this. Looks like the rockers shot off and hit the cams, are they done or should i buy new ones?

haha money so tight, i alreayd spent $900 on this head incident. hopefully i can buy stock ones and save myself

Well for the same amount of money i would look into upgrading new cams. Or you can take that to a machinist and he can turn those cams and balance them. It just depends on how deep the scores are. That might be your cheapest option

Can you feel the marks or just see them? If they are not bad enough to feel, emory cloth and hope... any worse than that, somebody who upgraded should send you their stock cams for the price of shipping.

I would be more concerned as to why that happened. As far as using them, i wouldn't. The gouges look pretty deep. I would just find a good used cam.

Figure out why this happened for one like stated, but if i recall correctly its a high spot you wanna worry about not a low.

low spot will just hold extra oil. I would just hit them with something to knock down any raised spot then just run them
