Hey guys.
I saw this deal in the vendor announcments today from punishment racing. Heres the link.
NGK Spark Plugs + NGK Premium Wire Set

very nice deal for plugs and wireset for only 66.99 (2g). at the bottom of the site it says this.

"The best plugs for imports running any type of forced induction have always been NGK Copper Spark Plugs. Anyone who has been around the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, Mitsubishi Galant, Lancer EVO 1-3, know that there is no wasting time with anything but NGK R Spark Plugs! These plugs are three steps "colder" than stock and take well to increased boost or the addition of race fuel much better than the stock recommendation of the
BPR6ES. These plugs should only be used for high boost and horsepower applications!"

so by that, im assuming that the BPR7ES-BPR9ES are the colder plugs? or are all of these plugs colder plugs? The reason i ask is becuase i have a stock system, and i would like to purchase this bundle, but i dont need a colder plug (of course) So if i bought the package selecting the BPR6ES, they will be the regular stock recommendation right? not a colder plug for high boost apps?

Solution
Correct. The 6's are the stock heat range. With a stock system there is no reason to switch to a colder plug. In fact, you'd probably foul them out much faster.

Solution
Correct. A new set of BPR6ES plugs will probably run you less than $9. Buy the set on the vendor's site and see if you can trade somebody the plugs you get for the plugs you want. Or call the vendor and ask if you can exchange for the stock 6ES plugs.

Edit: Just clicked on the link and saw you can choose to get the 6ES plugs anyway. You probably won't need the colder step plugs until you start messing with higher boost pressures or upgrade your turbo.
