Are 1g/2g DSM turbo TCU Compatible

did mitsubishi use the same TCU part number in 1g turbos and 2g turbos?? :confused:
 
I am not 100% sure but I don't think they are for these 2 reasons...


1) OBD1 vs OBD2... The pin outs are going to be different to the ECU even if they plug in the same.

2) 2G's have a locking TC where the 1G's do not.
