Aprox Lifespan on a Wideband??
If it goes bad can u keep the gauge and just replace the sensor??

yes the wideband o2 is easily replaced as any stock o2. The life depends on the placement of the o2/ 36 inches from turbo is normal and everyone uses it. before the flexpipe is also key.

so if i pickup a used one for 20 bucks from a local with unknkown miles but it works... its nothing to just throw a new sensor in??

If so thanks for the answer!!

Yeah, just a new sensor. The sensors with the innovate style plug can be had for $50-60. You can get the AEM style ones too, but I've never purchased them. Had a friend that worked at Oriley's that could.get the lC-1 units for $35. Should.have gotten 2 or 3.

Just double checked. 2000 subaru impreza. Not sure if it has the same harness, might need to be spliced in, but it works the same and you can pick it up from a local parts store.

AEM wideband part number AEM UEGO 30-2001
Impreza wideband part number RS 17018 WBO2

Judging by some googled pictures the Subaru O2 harness does look different than the AEM one.
