Anyone use this turbo manifold?

Was wondering if anyone has used this manifold. I got it for free and was wondering if it would outflow my Hahn log mani. It is obx, but it has the flange on the bottom instead of the top like others I have seen. It actually doesn't look too bad. I'm not sure of fitment since I haven't test fitted it yet. Just checking to see if anyone else has used it or seen pics, I can't find any info on it.

It looks somewhat comparable to my dnp, which I love. However you need to understand how hot tubular mani's get. It's not uncommon for them to be glowing/red hot even after normal driving. On top of that alot of people say they tend to blow welds. While mine hasn't, knock on wood, it is a high quality dnp. I'd do more research into the obx. You can't beat free either

1. Why is the wastegate flange on the oppersite side!!! And 2 seems ok! The middle 2 ports seem very close! Not my i deal manifold but if its free this could work! I think the hahn mani will be better then this! I have an ebay company manifold BUT its from an old vendor on here and its held up over many years so far with minimal surport! With this manifold i would worry about the external wastegate flange as its the wrong side!!!

Not sure what you mean by the wga flange on the wrong side. Here's a pic of the partial downpipe that came with it. With a t3 turbo and an external wga, everything should line up...

That is one weird looking setup. I have not seen a mani with external wastegate flange on the opposite side like that. Just curious as to how it will run. Good luck and can't beat freebies.

Yeah, I haven't seen a setup like this either! LOL. I'm really just worried about the welds cracking, but they don't look as bad as some of the other turbo manifolds and intakes mani's I've seen from OBX. The guy I got it from said it all lined up when he mounted it on his car, so I might give it a shot, idk LOL. I might just sell it since I already have a Hahn setup and all is good there. Just really curious as to how well this would work ya know? It's just so pretty!! LOL, and I pulled the obx plate that was tack welded on off, so I could say it's another brand when people ask LOL.

Well normaly the wastegate flange runs to the right! Evrn your down pipe seems weird! Is this being run on a 420a by any chance? The 4g63t engines wastegate runs to the right on the manifold!

I was thinking the same! The only reason for this if he is a 420a engine!

Right sorry for this but it is for a 420a engine! I didnt see you was a n/t eclipse sorry so this will be fit just fine for you. Althought im not sure what the out come will be as obx isnt a great brand! Its kind of like we will weld it and see if it fits haha.

Personally i would stick with the hahn manifold!!!

Yeah, I think I'll be sticking with my Hahn setup. Tested and true... I am interested in the Synapse manifold however.

This manifold actually fits really well... I was impressed! Took some pics. As far as I can see, no interference with anything in the engine bay. Looks like it would flow better than a log too. I am almost considering trying this manifold....
Edit: I know it doesn't look like the water line above the manifold clears, but it does and has plenty of room too.

ec17pse, Technoklipz, do you even pay attention to what section you are posting in?

powellds2, have you considered the downpipe fitment with the power steering and air conditioning in place? That is usually where the fitment of the cheap, knock off turbo manifolds goes down the shitter.
If you are not running either, then it should be good to go.

IF you do run it make sure you put some extra bracing on it so it doesn't crack within 200 miles! Looks better than the old 420a OBX turbo manifolds as far as fitment so far.

Yeah, I was looking and since the turbo flange is more to the right (like the star manifold) it should clear the A/C compressor no problem. As far as clearing the ps pump, no problem there. The downpipe piece that I was told came with the manifold when ordering looks to clear both without issue. Also, the Hahn manifold is actually puts the downpipe closer to the a/c compressor and ps pump than this manifold does. I really cannot believe how good the fitment is....

Yes, if I do use it on my other car, I well surely have to figure out a way to take the load off of the manifold to prevent cracking that would surely happen without.
