So I have a dilemma right now, I built two different intake manifolds and can not decide which on I want to run. They have both been mocked up on the car and fit and neither have been flow tested. The one that looks kinda like an AMM intake is kinda the same design and I would (guess) that it would produce the same results (not sure), so it would not do great down low but better up top. The other is a stock lower plenum with a massive 5'' top plenum, the ports match perfect. I was trying to add the bigger plenum and shorten up the runner length at the same time, I wanted to keep the long runners but their is just no room.

To finish this please let me on on what you think would be the best one in your opinion. The build is N/A at the time and some day going 2.4 turbo but I got awhile to wait for that. Also before I get flamed for not using a flow bench I called a few places around me and no one will test it due to they do not have temples or the other needed things to test the intakes or I would have had them tested.

In GENERAL, short runners=top end and long runners=low end. If your NA I would recommend the one with the longest runners to give you a more usable power band.

Not to "tangentise" (yeah I made up that word :D) but I thought you were out?

What are you talking about mark? Im not out of the dsm game, I just had to drop my supercharger project and cut a huge loss on it. When I made the statement about getting out it was out of the Marine Corp and could not afford to keep getting that deep. Now I am doing the little things to add a few N/A hp and tq.

I thought u were out of the DSM game as well, looked like a major part out from what i remember

Yes it was a huge part out I sold everything I had but my built head, I put it on with the timing belt. I used what was mostly stock bolt-ons and now I am just playing around with small stuff.

I have been looking at the two intakes for the last moth and just want to use them both! Two intakes on one head how cool would that be LOL, no but really the one on the right is what I am really thinking I just need a MP 60mm tb to use it or run my 65mm mustang tb that I have.

I will be getting out of the DSM game in about 2 years or a year if I find a good diesel tech job. I will not be leaving the eclipse car club though I will be getting a 2006 and up eclipse have to go with the times right.

Ok well I have decided on the longer big plenum. I was already wanting to use it but just wanted a push over the edge didn't get it but my inside tells me to do it.
