Anyone use SparkTech COP + CDI?

I was cruising EvoM forums today, and i saw the AMS Pikes Peak car, and it was sponsored by Sparktech. I was reading about the sparktech system on EvoM and i went to the website and found they make it for not only evos, but dsms as well. Has anyone ran a SparkTech COP or currently using it, and which kit did you get? The basic or the pro with the CDI by M&W. From what i hear, M&W are one of the best CDI's on the market. Is this true and what have you read, heard, or experienced??

That's why this is in the nub forum. Its a playground in here. I'm looking at three things right now, which is dsmlink, AEM, or the Motec. And i think i may have, or will out grow the dsmlink with going to road racing. Just because, i think i may want to run drivers to each coil and having less BS for wiring and what not. Plus, they seem to have a little bit more to offer off the bat, than what dsmlink can do. Not to put down what dsmlink "can" do, i just think i may have to move on.

I'm pretty sure Tom and Dave are working on staged injection for link. With the release of v3 the gap from link to a full standalone is pretty small, either way will work well for you, I'm sure.

Oh I'm sorry, I misread your previous post, I thought you mentioned injection and coil drivers.

Its cool. Yea, and thats the thing, i dont think they really have provisions in dsmlink to do ignition drivers where as others metioned previously can... So, it comes to do i want to get raped (AEM) , or beat up, robbed, and killed (Motec)?

Old thread but I just installed the sparktech pro + cdi and I'm not getting spark. The instructions say nothing about the power transistor. Is this something I need? Thanks for the help.

hey kurt the power transistor needs to be removed, i also need something check your pms.
