new to the community and was wondering what anyone either thought about using the MSD DIS-2 vs the AEM CDI.

I have the DIS-2 now and i am not that happy with it. just wondering if anyone has had the similar luck one way or another. I am running the AEM EMS on the car now and love it. But just wondering if i go with same brand items for iginition maybe i will or wont have better luck.

any input would be greatly apprieacted..

Take a look on the AEM forums for info regarding their CDI. From what I've read it's not a very good product, most people that run the MSD are pretty happy with it. What don't you like about yours?

My car came with the DIS-2 and while I don't use any of its programmable features, I like that I can run plenty of boost on a .032 plug gap. Aside of that, I really don't have much use for it and probably wouldn't miss it if it wasn't installed.

Lots of people have ran the dis-2 with great success and the stutter box feature is awesome. What is yours doing that makes you unhappy. What coils are you using with it?
