well I just bought the car this weekend and it had the gm maf on it already but I want to be able to tune with my safc - anyone doing this? what should i put the translater on? and the afc? any initial tuning tips would be appreciated - datalogger is in the mail as well. . . 91 tsi awd with 550's, gm maf/trans, safc, big 16g - came with all except afc - thanks

What I do when tunning is do set the base setting for the injectors
on the MAFT. Leave everything else at zero, start tunning with the
AFC. When done I transfer all the setting to the MAFT. 4-5% on the
AFC is about notch on the maft, so if I at -20 on the afc at wot I lean
the maft out 4 notches and set the afc back to zero. That way I just
fine tune with the afc as needed and I can see the whole graph on the
display.

Try to take it easy on the car until you get a logger and check some
setting, because you never know where its set at now.

S-AFC - blue screen one - any tips on using it? also just got my datalogging stuff today but i'm not sure what %,degrees and things it should be reading so i dont know if my car is good or not...? know where i can get some directions or do you have any tips? thanks for the help - im new to the electronics part of this - never had the money before LOL

I'm curious about using both the SAFC and the MAFT to tune...I'm most likely getting the blue screen old style AFC within a few months.
