Hey group I have an evo3 O2 installed and having issues with downpipe hitting transfer case. I know the angle is different but does anyone sell a compatible downpipe or know a work around to get it to fit properly? It's for 1G AWD by the way.

Road Race Engineering used to make a down pipe specifically for the Evo3 O2 housing (They might still, I'm not sure). Other than that your best bet is to have an exhaust shop modify your down pipe so that it fits correctly.

Thanks, it's no longer on their website. I might still call them, it wouldn't hurt

They made me a down pipe about a year ago so they probably still have the welding jig.

You can get the 02 off without removing the turbo.. disconnect your battery in case the housing touches your alternator (ask me how I know :p) and you may have to bend the dipstick a bit.

Have a shop cut/re-weld the flange at the needed angle.

UPDATE: Problem solved. Just got off the phone with RRE and they are going to make me a downpipe with the proper flange and angle.

Thanks to everyone who responded and tried to help!

I can't believe they even do DSM stuff any more. Their DSM website is literally the same as when I graduated high school 15 years ago.

I know, I took a gamble and it paid off. They were extremely helpful and from my conversation with them still have some love for DSMs.

RRE still has love for the DSM crowd. But like most shops they need to pay rent so they focus their efforts on customers who spend money.

Don't forget the lovely order form!

you're showing your age there Vegas.
Back then, RRE was THE place to order from. Them and Buschur. And I'm not kidding about their website not changing one bit in 15 years. It's like a time capsule. I miss my old RRE license plate.

Do you remember how long it took to get your order by chance? I placed my order with them 4 weeks ago today and still have not heard from them.

Off the top of my head I don't but it may have been a while. I ordered it while I was out of the country on deployment so I only cared that it was there when I got back.

Have you tried calling in the mid-afternoon west coast time? That is when I have the best luck getting them on the phone.
