Im looking to replace the stock side intercooler.
However i want the new one to be a simple install.

So im looking for an intercooler that will require no cutting or removal of any other componets like power steering, anyone know of any?

O its gonna be for a 1g Eagle Talon Tsi AWD 90, Manual

there are a few, ebay, has a few punishment racing, has a good one, it depends on a lot, your budget is one. Are you building it piece by piece or a kit?

Yep its good punishment, but you do have to cut some of the crash beam took a bit of work but i did it. And i used some metal brackets from the home depot to hold it. Looks good, im having welding done for my uicp, its looking really nice.

Punishment is a good one but does require some modifications. Ebay one's also perform ok depending on power levels trying to be achieved. Best thing to do is search the forums for what people thought about the different ones.

It all depends on if you want short route or long route. Most if not all short route FMIC will require some sort of cutting. Long route will follow the stock IC route and then add in more piping. VRSF is a good choice so is Punishment.

Actually really dont have a budget, Im willing to spend the extra money if its done right.
However My biggest concern would be any form of fabrication, ### im trying to keep the car close to stock, and my goal was to get a FMIC that would just bolt up

Don't buy this e-bay crap. Everything is BS. No one has some data to support the claim that e-bay FMIC's reform good. The only info I've seen before was posted from Kevin. KIGGLY...

There is a reason, that Good garret, or ETS cores, cost considerably more-------- cause they ####in COOL. I had a street FMIC/ Garret core and my AIT's after a 1-2-3- pull to 8300 RPM were 104*F on a 75 * day after continious driving... If I remember correctly Kiggly was recalling temps of 135-145*F.. There is a thread I made before related to CAi and lowering AIT's, check it out, if interested:

If money isn't an object them I would go with an ETS kit. Otherwise Punishment Racing. Both kits will require modification. You can't just fit a massive core into a spot that wasn't designed for it. Very minimal work. I could slam it on in an hour.

If it were me, I would grab an EVO316G, get some intercooler piping, keep the stock sidemount and run E85. Plenty of us in AZ run 30+ psi through the stock sidemount on E85 with no issue's and great results.
