anyone install 97 turbo spoiler on a talon?

anyone install a 97 and up high spoiler on a 95+ talon? i am curious to see how this would look, or if someone can photoshop it.

hey jimwross do u have better pics of the talon from the back? My computer has bad colors if there is a black car i can barely see it. Also my friend saw the pic and he says that the rear ends of the 2 cars look like eclipses. I really would look to see the eclipse spoiler on the talon.

would i have to remove the 95 talon spoiler in order to install the 97 wing, or can it fit with the talon wing there?

both those cars DO look like eclipse, because he did a eclipse conversion on the talon. the talon wing MUST be removed, the holes WELDED shut, and then painted. yes its a bi***, but do it RIGHT. i dont know if you could squeeze them both on, but for the love of god why? so if your getting the turbo wing, do it the correct way.

btw: i think hes looking for pics of the wing with a STOCK talon back end, not a eclipse conversion where you cant tell the difference

yes i am looking for a pic of the talon back end with the eclipse spoiler, and if i do put it on i will do it right, i wont leave the talon spoiler on.

I'm gonna be putting mine on at the end of this month when i put my stillen front on.... i'll get pics of it then.....


and i ended up just buying an eclipse hatch from a bone yard for real cheap, and put the spoiler on that... so i don't have to weld up the holes on my other hatch..., i'll just put my original hatch up in the attick if i want to put the car back to stock... and I'm also painting the roof, can't stand the black roof, i think the turbo wing would look great on a talon if the roof was the same as the car... but thats just my .02... i'm sure theres lots of people on here who would say "its a talon keep it a talon" blah blah... but its just a spoiler so who cares....

i have seen a 2g talon with the 97-99' eclipse turbo wing on it. and it did have the talon wing on there as well. it looked alright from the back, but from the sides it looked really nice. i do have a pic, but i don't have a scanner. :thumbdown

yo irjoshy get pics up as soon as u can, my car is black so i dont have to worry aout painting the top of the car.

yo drive_eagle u said u saw a talon wit the talon spoiler and eclipse spoiler? i would love to see how that looks! There was a guy around here who installed a turbo spoiler wit the talon spoiler, it looked pretty good.

Can you not just swap the trunk lids?

wouldnt it be cheaper to just get a spoiler, instead of the rear trunk lids?

also i am gonna swap the front to a 97 bumper, and i think ima put that spoiler on too.

yeah that would be the best idea for most, however i came across a deck lid for real cheap in my local junk yard 40$ and thought that it would be nice to be able to bring my car back to stock if i didnt like it, plus with the new lid, i don't have to weld up any holes....

Are the spoilers for the talons molded on there? Or are they bolted like the eclipse's?

Cause I figure ya just swap the lid , and like the other guy said you won't have any holes from the talon spoiler...plus having both of them on there looks really retarded (IMO)

im pretty sure its just bolted on.

could you just remove the stock wing from talon then put a eclipse turbo wing on there / fill any open holes.

Yes that is what most people do. Fill in the old wing holes and make new ones for the new wing.
