Iv been putting the idea up and down about a 2.1 destroke. Iv searched on here but so far havnt found much. I know whats needed and what not but was wondering who here has ever put one together or drove/rode in a DSM or EVO with one. Im looking at 9-9.5k rev limit and 600-650hp so im not going too crazy with the build but would just be nice to have a little extra displace and torque on a high revving engine. I already have a spare 6 bolt 4g63 block so ill have everything ready for the build except pistons, rods, head gasket, and timing belt so if I do find a g4cs block by the end of winter and if not just put what I have in the 2.0.

Here is a mod list. Also willing to take some suggestions.

Head:
Ferrea valves
Kiggly springs/retainers
5 angle job
losing the Comp 272's for some 280's (comp, kelford, FP, GSC?)

Block:
Wiseco 9:1
Manley I beams 162mm (or 150mm if 2.0)
ACL race bearings
ARP main studs
L19 head studs
Kiggly main gridle
Fluidampr

Bolt ons:
JMF drag manifold
63mm TB
SBR fmic
Tial bov
JMF twin scroll manifold
BW 362 divided T3
2- Tial 44mm's

Fuel:
RC 1200cc's
255 in-tank
044 in-line
FPR
-6an lines
meth/water injection

Drivetrain:
PTT twin disk
Shep stg4
LSD rear
race axles all the way around
hopefully upgraded driveshaft soon

No personal experience yet, but as of reading a lot of threads I would say the 2.1 is a good idea because you're stressing the under-square motor less at 9-9.5k than the square 2.0. Also from my reading you want to get the balanced stroker pistons with the custom rods to avoid piston slap.
