Anyone ever thought about this?

I have been thinking awhile now . Has anyone ever tried to make a FTO front bumper onto a 1g or 2g ? or even more difficult. Import a FTO into the states and dropped a 4g63t into it ?

i spent some time in Japan... i am about 90% sure that when i pulled a pair of e-brake cable out of one of those it was AWD... they were basically a shortened non turbo GTO.

I think it looks kind of cool too. But I think the bumper would look dumb on a DSM.

Wrong, FWD only. The FTO came with an earlier version of the V6 Found in the 3g Eclipse's, and FWD. They had 3 different Platforms, all FWD. 4G93 4Cyl FWD, GA12 V6 FWD, and GA12 Mivec V6 FWD. They were basically an earlier 3G Eclipse.

I always wanted an FTO. on xBox Juiced 1, I had a FTO GP Version R Aero Series for my Trick car! I could spin that bi*** around sooo well. Damn I miss that game.

I think they look sweet. I always liked them on gran turismo. They had an awd one on there but i know they only came fwd. I still would rather have an evo 3 or 5. I think the front bumper might look good on a 2g but not a 1g. The lines just dont flow for the 1g. They should have come awd or rwd.

the fto weighs almost 1000 lbs less than a 2g with a v6 in it . Imagine a 4g63 in there it'd be like a colt only sleaker

Im telling you, you found like one of the "nicest" pictures of one...they are disgusting in person. From the rear it is retarded and just looks terrible, the lines on the windows are all wrong.

And that front bumper isnt the stock front bumper from your first picture.

You should find a niec VR4 like my best friend and house mate has. He has a 99 VR4 V6 twin turbo. Thing is mean, AWD of course....

Agreed the back is horrible.

But anyways the article talks about what they would do to the car to reclaim its name, because even in the mag, they say its a SHIT car . But besides that, it says they would put a 4g63T in it and put it from North to South (not like our cars are East to West), big wheels, upgraded tranny, turbo ect ect.

Even tho i have said time and time i dont like the FTO's i thought i would take the time to scan and upload that for you Highland
