Anyone ever removed this panel?

Just wondering if anyone had ever removed this panel and patched the holes beneath it. My driver side one is off right now and I kinda like the way it makes the fenders seem to stick out more (since they still have the raised panels on them)

my buddy did. He had to redo it twice because he did a bad bondo filling job. It looked the same to me

anyone have any pics of this panel removed and the holes patched?

if you remove it , i would have someone weld up the holes. that way you use very little bondo so there wont be any cracking to take care of later. any good body shop should be able to do it for you.
