has anyone ever seen this before?

Has anyone ever seen one of these before? I think its for the original car phone the car had come with(as its not in the car anymore and thats the way I got it). It has a black box that that goes thru the window and had connected to a cord that ran into the a arm and eventually ran into the center console. just wondering if anyone else out there has this on there car or has seen one before.

I have something similar stuck to the top center of my rear window. But mine just has the inner portion; the outer antenna has been removed. There where stickers on the passenger strut tower saying it had a car phone installed.

Yep - it's a car-phone antenna alright. Used to have one just like it back in the day.

I haven't seen one on a DSM, but I remember my cousin buying an old Cadillac Seville with one (had the phone in the arm rest). Never knew what he ending up doing with it though.

My 2001 Yukon Denali had the same thing.....At least yours in on a easy cheap window. Mine was on the rear side window..So it stayed....

I used to have just the inner part also. Removed it because well my Bluetooth works way better .
