Anyone ever put an Avenger door on a Eclipse/Talon [Merged 7-9]

the plastic piece doesn't hold well. i tried it on one side, and it held up for about 3 weeks, on another side, it didn't do much.
i tried it twice.
then i also fabbed a lil thing, so it holds even tighter, which moved the plastic piece even closer to the window, so it's tight as hell, i can even adjust how tight i want it. what happens with my door, is when the window is half way or more towards the bottom, its really tight on there, and it doesnt move, i could even make it soo freaking tight, that the window is very hard to open (i have power windows). but when it's like almost all the way up or 1-6 inches or so lowered, it still wobbles. and i can't figure out why!! i've tried fixing it few times, and now i just said **** it, i'd rather go look for new doors. i mean it's not a real pain in the ass, but still.
anyways thanks for posting, know that i know the doors will bolt right up, i am going to go on a hunt for some. i'll figure out what to replace, whether the whole door or just gut it out and replace the window and all of that.
thanks guys! just wasnt sure if doors would fit right in or not, so didn't want to go spend time, and money to rip it out and drive around to find the car as well, only to find out that it was all pointless.

Well my windows used to rattle and I pinched that clip....NOW it doesn't RATTLE anymore! The clip spreads out over time from you shutting the door. Thats is why is needs squeezed closed every few years. The clip i'm talking about is in the front of the door...kiinda behind the speaker hole. It's NOT the clips at the top.

I have full Talon doors with power everything. Let me know if you want to come get them.

ah. i thought you meant the top one. cus i squeezed the shit out of those. I'll check that bottom clip you are talking about when i have time. ai m tired of these freaking doors, my locks don't work too, from inside it opens fine, from outside the key turns very hard, and doesn't turn on driver side at all. can i replace just the key hole thing? or do i have to replace the whole lock system?

The door glass is different at the upper rear corner of the glass. The roof line of the Sebring/Avenger is different because of the hatch elimination and the addition of the trunk. The Eclipse/Talon glass turns down while the Sebring/Avenger goes straight across.

The glass is really different. All of the pre cut window tints all say that they will cover a 2g window or an avenger/sebring.. I really never noticed the difference before..

Update on Avenger parts, I just tried to mount up some Avenger mirrors on my 2g, they won't work.
The part that the mirror mounts to is a little longer than that of a Eclipse.
And the mounting bolts on the actual mirror are spaced out a little too far to attach it to the mirror mount.
I will get back with pictures asap.
